GOVERNOR JENNIFER M. GRANHOLM is the former governor and first female Attorney General of the State of Michigan. She is currently a distinguished practitioner of law and public policy at UC Berkeley, author and political commentator. As Governor, Granholm led the state through a brutal economic downturn, working relentlessly to diversify the state’s economy, strengthen its auto industry and create new jobs. Granholm pioneered clean energy policies, improved education and under her leadership, Michigan had the second highest rate of child health care coverage in the nation.

CALIFORNIA ATTORNEY GENERAL KAMALA D. HARRIS
is the first woman, the first African American and the first South Asian to hold the office in the history of California. As chief law enforcement officer and lawyer for the people of California, Attorney General Harris led a bold response to the state’s foreclosure crisis - famously securing an estimated $18 billion from the nation’s banks on behalf of Californians. She is defending women’s access to quality, affordable and comprehensive healthcare in the US Supreme Court (most recently in the Hobby Lobby contraceptive coverage case), along with combating human trafficking, supporting marriage equality and defending the Affordable Care Act. A career prosecutor, Attorney General Harris served two terms as District Attorney of San Francisco.
